Update Number 3 On Memorial Day

I've just now finished Georgia Meets Her Groom.  That took me two hours and 44 minutes. That means I have 12 hours and 7 minutes of reading time to go before the end of Thursday.

The next book I will be reading is called Blasphemy  by Douglas Preston. I probably won't get to it tonight. I might read some of it when I get up in the morning, if I'm lucky enough to have any time then.

Update Number 2 On Memorial Day

I finished True Love by Robert Fulghum. It took me an hour and 20 minutes. I now have 14 hours and 51 minutes to go before the end of Thursday.

The next book I will be reading is called Georgia Meets Her Groom by Elizabeth Bevarly. (I don't know how much of it I will get read today, though, as my nephew is home now and may want some of my attention during the evening.)

My Reading Updates For Memorial Day

Today happens to be Memorial Day here in the US. However, there's nothing special going on that by any means involves me.  I did get some reading done, though.

I just now finished The Bride Says No.  It took me 2 hours and 6 minutes. I have 16 hours and 11 minutes to go before the end of Thursday.

The next book I will be reading is called True Love by Robert Fulghum.

Triple Release Outside My Hometown

As I may have mentioned before, I'm in my sister's hometown for the summer. As her household is out visiting her boyfriend's family, I am housesitting. I managed to release Hoodwinked at the McDonald's in her hometown and Lost Horizon and The Accidental Vampire on a bench somewhere else. I held onto Push Comes To Shove, though, as the particular circumstances under which the previous reader had gotten it made them reluctant to release it into the wild. Once I'm back home and can afford mailing apparatus, I'll arrange for it to be released somewhere else, at which time I will temporarily have my email in my profile in case nobody from Bookcrossing shows any interest.

More Reading Updates

I read all of Hoodwinked this afternoon. I began reading it for 25 minutes before I ate some lunch. Afterwards, it took me 1 hour and 48 minutes to finish it. That means it took a total of 2 hours and 13 minutes to read. I now have 18 hours and 17 minutes to go in order to meet the 24 hours.

The next book I will be reading is called The Bride Says No by Cait London.

(P.S. Would you believe that this is my 100th post for RAB-PIA?  I wonder if I'll ever reach 1000 here.)

Read-A-Thon Progress And Another Book Finished

I'm taking part in yet another read-a-thon. I didn't get any reading done on Friday (at least none that I had kept track of), so no hours from that. I read for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes yesterday.

I finished up Push Comes to Shove today. That took my total so far today to 2 hours, bringing my overall total to 3 hours and 30 minutes. That means I have 20 hours and 30 minutes to go.

The next book I will be reading is Hoodwinked by Diana Palmer.

Finished 'The Accidental Vampire'

Well, I finished The Accidental Vampire today. The date and place of release have yet to be determined.

I was going to release Lost Horizon on Friday, but the place where I was going to release it was inaccessible, and I didn't have time to find an alternative spot. So, I may have to see about releasing it in my sister's hometown (where I am for the summer).

The next book I will be reading will be Push Comes to Shove by Wesley Brown.

I'm So Sorry For Falling Behind On This

I realize that I haven't made any recent progress reports on my reading. I'd rather not go into why.

I will say this though. I've made it up to chapter 18 in The Accidental Vampire. I don't think I'll finish it in time to release it before I go out of town, and I don't know when I'll be a position to release it when I am out of town.

I have decided that I would release my copy of Lost Horizon tomorrow morning while I'm out running other errands.

Between the reading I did yesterday and the reading I did tonight, I've made it up to chapter 11 in The Accidental Vampire.

Giving Up On The Read-A-Thon

I had started on the April-May read-a-thon with Bookcrossing, but between full days at Doggie Bag and not to mention a lot of "cyber stuff" I've been doing lately, there has just been no way for me to make it to the full 24 hours.

Maybe I'll have better luck next month.

April-May Read-A-Thon: Days 2-4

I didn't get any reading done on Saturday for some reason. Last night, I only got in 41 minutes of reading. Tonight I read for one hour and twenty-five minutes. I now have a cumulative total of 2 hours and 14 minutes towards the read-a-thon. That means I have 21 hours and 46 minutes to go.

I'm also done with Lost Horizon. I am now on The Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands. I've read the first chapter so far.

Bought More Books Today

At the thrift store I volunteer at, the shelves have gotten a bit crowded lately. In order to help free up some of the space, I bought some books. They are as follows:

Hoodwinked by Diana Palmer
The Bride Says No by Cait London
True Love by Robert Fulghum
Georgia Meets Her Groom by Elizabeth Bevarly
Blasphemy by Douglas Preston
Bookends by Jane Green
Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand

I've registered them all with Bookcrossing, and after I read them all, I will be releasing them.
