April-May Read-A-Thon: Day 1

I just now read chapter 3 of Lost Horizon. That took me eight minutes, leaving me with 23 hours and 52 minutes to go. I have some writing to do, so I won't likely get any more reading done today. However, if it thunders where I am, and I have to turn my computer off, I'll do more reading.
